Across multiple assignments, Business Markers supported Coca-Cola in bringing structure and alignment to a complex, multi-layered organization. The work spanned different markets, teams, and functions, with a consistent focus on translating strategic ambition into clear direction and actionable execution.
The challenge was not ambition, scale, or expertise. It was coherence. In an environment with multiple teams, functions, and decision-makers, strategy risked becoming fragmented. Teams worked hard, but not always from a shared framework, leading to duplication, silo-thinking, and diluted focus.
Business Markers supported Coca-Cola in addressing this challenge across several domains.
In the UK, we contributed to the development of strategic plans across different customer environments, including retail and horeca, involving multiple organizations and teams. This required aligning perspectives between central strategy and field execution, and translating ambition into clear priorities and actionable plans.
In parallel, we supported organizational design decisions for customer-facing teams, ensuring structures were aligned with strategic objectives. Additional interventions focused on sharpening strategic plans within operational and functional contexts, including the Antwerp plant and PACS team, as well as strengthening the strategic capabilities of European directors.
What makes this collaboration distinctive is the combination of strategy, structure, and capability building. Rather than focusing on isolated deliverables, the work aimed to create a shared way of thinking and working across teams, while respecting local realities and differences in maturity.
